How do the Ceremony Sets work? +
Each Ceremony Set is designed for self-led ritual. Every set contains our exclusive Ceremony Guide, and a link to our online digital companion alongside a curated collection of objects, designed to be held wherever feels right, by however many people need to be there, or by no one but you. The sets do not include live celebrant services; they are complete in themselves, and designed to be. If you would like a personally written script to accompany your set, Please enquire for details and availability.
What are your dispatch and shipping timelines? +
As an independent studio, all orders are prepared and dispatched within 3 to 5 working days. Orders are sent via tracked courier or postal services to ensure safe arrival. Transit times are calculated at checkout. If your order is intended for an imminent ceremony, please contact us prior to ordering so we can confirm whether expedited handling is possible.
Can I return or exchange a physical item or set? +
In strict accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, bespoke goods, custom-written materials, and sealed items that have been unsealed after delivery are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable. Unopened, non-customised items may be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original, undamaged packaging at the buyer's expense. Once a Ceremony Set seal is broken, we cannot accept returns due to intellectual property protection, hygiene considerations, and the inclusion of single-use ritual elements.
How does the digital Words & Poetry Companion link work? +
Purchasers of a Ceremony Set receive access to an exclusive web link for their specific Set type. This digital companion is curated specifically for that ceremony framework and is strictly non-transferable. To respect copyright laws, where full text publication rights are restricted for third-party poetry, the companion provides exact signposting, citations, and excerpts to guide you to the complete works in print. Access to this digital companion is provided solely for personal, private use by the original purchaser.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty? +
Every parcel is packed by hand with utmost care. In the rare event that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@ceremoniesoflove.co.uk with clear photographs of both the outer packaging and the damaged item. We will inspect the details and arrange an appropriate replacement or resolution swiftly.
Can I alter or cancel my order after placing it? +
Because orders enter our preparation pipeline immediately, we cannot guarantee cancellations or changes once an order is confirmed. If you spot an error in your delivery address, please email us within 2 hours of placing your order and we will do our best to adjust it prior to dispatch. We are not liable for delayed or lost deliveries resulting from incorrectly provided address details.
What is the Ceremony Almanac™? +
The Ceremony Almanac™ is a privately commissioned heirloom document. Charlotte individually researches your chosen date to craft a beautiful three-page document exploring its historical, astronomical, folkloric, and symbolic significance. Because each Almanac is individually researched and printed to order, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for creation and delivery. Due to their custom nature, Almanacs are non-refundable once research or production has commenced.
Can I return a bespoke writing commission? +
No. All bespoke commissions including Ceremony Almanacs™, custom ceremony scripts, private writing commissions and so on are custom-crafted specifically for you upon order. Under UK consumer law (Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), personalised and bespoke goods are completely exempt from statutory cancellation or refund rights once work has commenced. All sales of commissioned writing and research are final.
Who owns the copyright to written scripts, guides, and materials? +
All written copy, ceremony guides, scripts, digital companions, rituals, titles, registered trademarks (including Ceremony Set™ The Claiming™ and Ceremony Almanac™), and website content remain the exclusive intellectual property and copyright of Charlotte Fowler and Ceremonies of Love® Ltd. The purchase of a script, set, or commission grants you a strictly personal, limited, non-commercial licence to read or perform the material for your private ceremony. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, adapt, redistribute, resell, or commercially perform any written materials without prior express written consent.
Do you donate to charity? +
Yes. A percentage of profits from the Remembrance Ceremony Sets is donated to our current bereavement charity partners. This is a commitment Charlotte Fowler has held throughout her career, and one she takes seriously.
